Diabetes

Over 100 million people in the US have been diagnosed with diabetes or prediabetes.  That’s ONE THIRD of the US population.  It is the leading cause in new cases of blindness, kidney failure and amputations of the feet and legs not related to accidents or injuries.  These facts are alarming and sadly most people are given a life sentence when diagnosed.  I’m here to help you get your life back, to help you break the stronghold your diabetes may have on you.

If you’ve found this page you are one of millions of diabetics who is fed up with continual weight gain, fatigue and feeling lost in your battle with diabetes.  You are thinking there has to be a different way; a new route to take that will leave diabetes in the rearview window.  And you’re right!  Diabetes is REVERSIBLE, it’s NOT something you have to live with the rest of your life.

What’s the real problem here?

Let’s start by clarifying the difference:

Type I diabetes amounts to only 5% of all diabetics and the main issue at hand is a lack of insulin production from the pancreas beta cells.  The pancreas isn’t able to make enough insulin, which acts as a taxi cab, taking sugar from the blood into the cell to be used as energy.

Type II diabetes is a problem of insulin’s poor communication with the cell.  Type II diabetics have plenty of insulin, so we can’t blame insulin here.  The REAL PROBLEM is the insulin receptors on the cell are damaged from inflammation, thus impeding the body’s ability to properly utilize blood sugar.

So we can see that most of the time diabetes is not an issue of needing more insulin, rather, it’s best to concentrate on HEALING THE CELL.  Through specific tests we are able to determine the degree to which the cells are damaged.  We are also able to determine hormone levels that have a direct impact on the body’s ability to regulate blood sugar.  One of those being cortisol.  Chronically high cortisol levels can lead to insulin resistance and weight gain.  So if you THINK you’re eating right and you THINK you’re exercising correctly but you’re STILL struggling with unstable blood sugar numbers, fatigue and overweight, don’t wait any longer to give us a call.

Let’s summarize

So now we know type II diabetes isn’t an issue of needing more insulin.  No, to get on top of this problem it starts with the cell.  Type II diabetics have sick cells that can’t communicate properly with hormones.  WE HAVE TO HEAL THE CELL!  We accomplish that by starting with specific tests and the Cellular Healing Diet, the only diet I recommend for my patients.  The best part is that patients are able to balance their blood sugar, hormones and body weight without exercise!
